While Girls Aloud are taking a year out from the music game to pursue solo projects it's looking like The Saturdays are working twice as hard to make sure they can claim the crown as No.1 Girl Band in the UK.

I'm sure the Sugababes will have something to say about that as they have a new video out at the moment too which I'll post shortly but for now, lets bask in the glory of their spandex and high heels as The Saturdays bring us 'EGO'

At the start of every year, people always want predcitions about the months ahead. Whether its fashion trends, new technological fads or upcoming films, we love predicting how we think the year is going to transpire.

Being MTV, we're always excited to try and predict, guess or dream about who we think should or will be big - and this year I think one to watch is definitely Justin Bieber.

Hailing from Canda, Justin was Signed to Island Def Jam records by RNB Superstar Usher Raymond. JB was also courted by namesake Justin Timberlake, who was also very keen to sign the youngster.

With amazing record sales in North America from his first album 'My World' Justin is set to take the UK by storm later this year.

I remember being over at a VMA after party in New York back in September and my friend telling me Katy Perry and Russell Brand had just snogged... little did we think four months later lothario Russell would have a ring on Katy's finger. Well believe it people!

The comedian confirmed today he and the very lovely Katy got engaged during a romantic holiday. It was reported he proposed during a spiritual ceremony in India on New Year's Eve, with the relationship blessed by a "love guru". I'm imagining a Mike Myer's character...

It seems that actor Sam Worthington can do no wrong at the moment. He arguably stole the show last year in the prequal movie 'Terminator Salvation' with many critics preferring his performance to that of Christian Bale. Then more recently, starred in James Camerons ground breaking blockbuster 'Avatar' which is set to be one of the biggest films of all time.

However, it looks as though 2010 is going to be another big year for the flavour of the month actor with the release of his next film, a remake of the epic 1981 classic 'CLASH OF THE TITANS.

In case you're not familiar with the story, it's all about Greek Mythology incorporating the Greek Gods such as Zeus, Aphrodite, Medusa and more. Think Lord of the rings meets Brad Pitts Movie Achilles. If you like fantasy movies with loads of action, monsters and demons plus epic scenes - this film is definitely not going to disappoint!

Hey Peeps - Happy New Year!

So you guys know that I love my movies. I saw Avatar just before Christmas (go see it if you havent already, it's amazing!)

However, I have a new blockbuster prediction for the box office this year. Directed by Ridley Scott, the latest adaptation of the Robin Hood Legend sees Russell Crowe team up with the man who directed him on Gladiator 10years ago.

Well the celebs are in ( I'm happy that I use the word celeb for most of them -exceptions include you Nicola T) and have spent their first night in the new devishly extravagant house.

This year's housemates include a handful of musicians including thong man Sisqo, rapper Lady Sovereign, Another Level's Dane Bowers and Jonas aka Basshunter ( seen above with me and the boys when he popped into Digs recently)

If these guys were to collaborate on a single it would definitey be.. ahem .. interesting.

By far Vinnie Jones and Stephanie Beecham are my favs.. I can't believe I'm saying this about Vinnie but these two seem the classiest by far. I've also heard a rumour about someone from the Gascoigne clan joining the house in a few days. should be interesting considering Vinnie and Gazza's nutcracker history.

I'm so over the whole Alex, Dane and Jordan triangle. Alex Reid, the boyfriend of model and Jordan, denied reports that he had a fight with her ex Dane Bowers before entering the house. Yawn.

Reports claimed that the two had fought at Price's New Year's Eve party and Bowers arrived at the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house with a cut above his right eye.
But Alex told Davina, "Categorically no. I wasn't even aware there was a fight until afterwards."

The best line so far was when Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss said to Stephen Baldwin, "I know your face".. hmm I'm sure she does

Jones is the bookies' favourite to win the series.
