Steve Aoki is a producer from the U.S. and also enlisted the help of Zuper Blahq on this track who is definitely someone you'll recognise if you look and listen too close enough.

In an industry quite often over saturated with scripted car crash pseudo reality 'tv', I find it refreshing to see that there are still people trying to use moving image to show perhaps as much truth as you can with a camera.

'The Green Book Materials' is a gentle introduction to the work of Phos, if you're interested try 'Last Minutes with Oden' next (by clicking on 'phos pictures' under the video above) but be warned it's very sad.

A selection of up and coming artists from Kenya, Senegal, Mali, Zimbabwe and South Africa have been hand picked by a music panel consisting of experts like Damon Albarn (Gorillaz, Blur), Baaba Maal and Tony Allen.  Music fans can listen to the artists, pick their favorites and chip in a minimum of a $1 dollar to go towards the recording of a professional EP for that artist.

The music is then distributed to the fans that backed the artist, and also sold on online stores like Amazon & iTunes. All the generated net income from music sales is shared equally between the artists and the music fans that have shown support. The project aims to expand by welcoming musicians from other countries in the near future...

So although he's just started a custodial sentence, Lil Wayne has ensured that he won't be leaving our screens while he does his time. He's recorded a selection of music videos for a No. of songs that will be released whilst he is in prison.

I love this venue down in South London and the line up for this night is amazing. Sub Focus, Mylo and Kode9 should be banging.

I first got a glimpse of this at the NME Awards.. Pretty bleedin deadly if you ask me. But don't ask me check out the song for yourself...

After the Haiti tragedy, Shane MacGowan and his partner Victoria Clarke made calls to friends begining the process of recording a track from which ALL proceeds go to Concern (a charity who have provided assistance to some of the poorest countries in the world.)

Some of the stars on the record include - Nick Cave, Bobby Gillespie, Glen Matlock, Chrissie Hynde, Paloma Faith, Eliza Doolittle... oh someone called JOHNNY DEPPplays the guitar.

She had an amazing introduction to the international music scene with her 2008 album Shine and even more so with her monster hit single 'American Boy' ft Kanye West.

Well, 2years on and Estelle is back with new material. 'Freak' is a her new dance influenced track and features Kardinall Offishall. It sounds like it would fit right in to a party at Pacha Or even the Zoo Project in Ibiza this summer which is no surprise as the track was produced by super star DJ, David Guetta.

Personally, I think it's a definite hit. It will sound amazing in the clubs, it's radio friendly with it's catchy sample and chorus courtesy of Soul II Soul from they're classic tune 'Back To Life'.

I blogged about my obsession with this show before but how happy was I when I bumped into Vampire Bill aka Stephen Moyer in person... eh VERY! He was at the BBC studios filming with Mr Jonathan Ross and was, of course, a true gent...

Me and Mr Lemon rocking the leather look at NME's. It has to be done! He also showed his support to Cheryl Cole by saying if Ashley walked into his local pub, he'd deck him one.

I'm sure Ashley is shitting himself.
