If you liked The Sopranos, The Shield, The Wire… in fact any of the relatively recent gritty US dramas, it's likely that you'll enjoy Sons of Anarchy.
Sons of Anarchy, is an adrenalised drama with darkly comedic undertones that explores a notorious outlaw motorcycle club's (MC) desire to protect its livelihood. The MC confront threats from drug dealers, corporate developers, and overzealous law officers.
Behind the MC's familial lifestyle and legally thriving automotive shop is a ruthless and illegally thriving arms business. The seduction of money, power, and blood. If you haven't seen the show, you're missing out.
If you're ahead of the trend you'll be happy to know that the second series will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on 16 August from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
