Hey Peeps, Happy New Year and all that jive! I hope you've had a good festive break.

Adidas are currently running a new campaign called the Adidas House Party. It reminds me of when all of the really good football ads used to put all their top stars in their adverts before a big football tournament.

Have a look at how many people you can spot in there, all of which are are alingned with Adidas in some compacity, whether it be sport, fashion, music or otherwise.

Heaving with those escaping the bitter winter cold outside, Brixton Academy was bustling with Christmas spirit as The Kooks performed one of their last few gigs of this year. Mystery Jets more than satisfied as support and were decked out in clothing I think may have been designed by the same person who makes my Christmas decorations. And they’re damn good decorations! The enthusiasm for a support act like this is understandable. They got the energy going from the start and kept us all in a merry state with fans bellowing back during their hit ‘Two doors down’.

I had the pleasure of attending the opening night of Madame Zingara's Theatre of Dreams last week, a sensory spectacle that's just hit our shores from South Africa. The show had been described by colleagues as "a kind of like Fear & Loathing meets Cirque De Soleil"... which is about spot on.

If Carlsberg did men they would be clones of Mr Hugh Jackman – this guy is a legend. I caught up with him this week at the film junket of ‘Australia’ – Baz Luhrman’s new epic also starring Nicole Kidman. I always get asked ‘who’s the nicest person I’ve interviewed’ and Irish boys ‘The Script’ have now been knocked off the number one spot by wolverine. Sorry lads but if you’re going to be beaten, you might as well be beaten by someone good!
